Florachem distributes Solvokane™ solvents for non-ozone depleting vapor degreasing

Florachem Corp. and Solvay Fluorides Group (Houston, TX) have agreed to a distribution arrangement that allows Florachem to market Solvay’s Solvokane series of fluorinated vapor degreasing solvents throughout North America. The Solvokane line represents a strategic fit for Florachem, who offers a variety of environmentally responsible solvent alternatives to petroleum distillates, chlorinated solvents and ozone depleting halogentated solvents.
Solvokane solvents will compete directly with HFEs, HCFCs and other HFCs for vapor degreasing customers not wanting or able to use chlorinated solvents or ozone depleting nPB solvents. The non-flammable Solvokane line includes products for light and heavy duty degreasing as well as electronics defluxing and spot-free drying. Solvokane products are priced very competitively verses the competition.
