Steve McAlister - Chief Service Officer
Mr. McAlister is responsible for serving and satisfying the customers, suppliers and employees of Florachem. Prior to founding the company in 1988, Steve held technical, sales and marketing positions at Millennium Chemicals. He has an undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from St. Andrews College and an MBA from Wharton at University of Pennsylvania.
Bill White - Sourcing
Mr. White joined Florachem after working for 19 years with Union Camp Corporation, primarily in purchasing and transportation roles. He earned both graduate and undergraduate degrees from Lehigh University. At Florachem he is fondly referred to as the “Chief Accountability Officer”.
Gary P. Sanders - Business Development
Mr. Sanders directs Florachem’s new-product development, technical services and international sales. His industry experience includes 21 years with Millennium Chemicals in sales, marketing and research-and-development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of North Florida.
John Alexander - Manufacturing
Mr. Alexander joined Florachem after the acquisition of Frutech International Corporation in 2008. He brings 10 years of manufacturing, processing, and sales experience. He holds an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and is Plant Manager for the Florachem Distillation Plant in Mission, Texas.
Melissa McClung - Finance
Melissa joined Florachem in May of 2006. Her skills and experience as a CPA and a previous owner of her own accounting firm, brings a new level of depth to Florachem. She has more than 15 years experience in accounting, beginning with First Union/Wachovia. Melissa has a B.A. in Accounting from the University of North Florida.
